Convoy of Hope Aim Trips
So you’re interested in an AIM trip. Whether you’re a youth leader exploring future possibilities for your group, or you’re a young person wondering what could be next, we’re thrilled to connect.
On this page we’ll give a brief overview of our short-term Convoy of Hope Teams trips and our 6 or 15 week intern program for young adults. We’re former youth pastors, who went on AIM trips ourselves a long, long time ago. We care about students, longing for life-changing intense encounters with the Father, as He moves in ways we cannot fathom.
Young people, look here! Convoy of Hope Internship - A compassion-based AIM opportunity for a community of individuals. The vision - Each spring, summer and fall, young adults gather for a time of training and then serve with passion in community in the U.S. and around the world, helping meet physical and spiritual needs. It’s a lot of work, your team becomes family, and it’s adventurous and rewarding. Our 6-week summer internship is open to all 16+. Our 15-week spring and fall internship are open to all 18+. You can see a lot more here. |

Youth Leaders, look here! Convoy of Hope Teams -A short-term opportunity for groups. Our Convoy of Hope Teams work around the world, meeting physical and spiritual needs.Following the challenge of Matthew 25, AIM Team members will meet physical needs through a combination of building water filters, helping with feeding programs, micro-enterprises, or food distribution. It’s all done in coordination with missionaries and local churches. Following the commission of Matthew 28, they’ll also share the gospel in a relevant way. Students will have opportunity to pray with people as they decide to follow Christ. They’ll pray for the sick. They’ll see God’s Spirit move in incredible ways.
The practical side We’ll take care of the logistical set-up, we’ll send someone with your team, and we’ll work through A/G Missionaries to see it all happen.Your church can get World Missions Giving Credit and you and the team will have medical insurance for this trip. Your responsibilities Pray and be ready. You’ll need to decide when/where you want to serve, send in a $300 reservation fee with a reservation form, and then raise the rest of the money for your trip. You’ll need to be sure the team has passports and that they’ve filled out the proper forms. You’ll also need to purchase your own airplane tickets. Conclusion We look forward to partnering with you for a short-term missions opportunity. You can visit here to see trip availabilities, download the reservation form, or see more about this opportunity. Thanks so much! Rick Ryan, Convoy of Hope Associate International Director |
