Convoy of Hope recently teamed up with the Southern Baptist Convention in Orlando, Florida to help families in need.

As part of their national convention, volunteers from Southern Baptist churches distributed groceries to 21,000 people from 10 distribution sites through the city.

“The four semi-trucks filled with groceries helped a lot of hurting people,” says Michael Redmon, vice-president of Outreach.  “We met a lot of working poor families that said they’re just having a hard time making ends meet.  They were so grateful that someone cared enough to give them a helping hand.”
