Cofounder’s new book takes on poverty

In “The Compassion Revolution: How God Can Use You to Meet the World’s Greatest Needs” (Harvest House) Dave Donaldson, cofounder of Convoy of Hope, challenges readers to tackle hunger, sickness, homelessness and poverty.

“A revolution based on compassion is gaining force all around us,” writes Donaldson.

Convoy of Hope, contends Donaldson, is very much a part of the revolution Donaldson hopes will one day help eradicate poverty and hunger. Besides highlighting some of the strides Convoy of Hope has made since it was founded in 1994 Donaldson focuses on every-day heroes who have made a difference in the lives of the impoverished and suffering.

“The Compassion Revolution” is available at bookstores and online at BarnesandNoble.com, Borders.com, amazon.com and other fine retailers.
