Haiti warehouse stops in Missouri

Recently six truckloads of steel totaling over 230,000 pounds and two truckloads of insulation arrived at Convoy of Hope’s World Distribution Center in Springfield, Mo.

The following week volunteer workers began loading the steel and other components into shipping containers bound for Haiti, where they will be used to complete construction on Convoy of Hope’s 35,000-square-foot warehouse that will hold six million meals.

Want to support Convoy of Hope’s work in Haiti and around the world?

“The warehouse will enable us to continue to grow our operations as we reach out to thousands of children and families in Haiti,” says Kevin Rose, director of Children’s Feeding Initiatives for Convoy of Hope.

A team of more than a dozen volunteers from Colorado and Minnesota assisted with the unloading and reloading process.
