Help headed to Philippines

Recent flooding in the Philippines has prompted Convoy of Hope to send aid to Luzon where some 30,000 families have been affected by high waters.

You can help Convoy of Hope in a global way by donating online.

“Food and clean drinking water are critical needs in the area because water wells have been inundated with flood water,” says Jeff Nene, public relations officer for Convoy of Hope. “We have containers full of food headed for the area.”

Feed My Starving Children, a long-term and trusted partner of Convoy of Hope, has supplied a shipping container full of food that Convoy of Hope will ship to its Philippine country director and teams for distribution.

“Our in-country director is reporting that thousands of homes have been damaged and many children are falling ill,” says Nene. “Our goal is to continue feeding the 35,000 children we feed each week and help those affected by the flooding.”
