DETAILS ABOUT WHERE YOUR ADVENTURE WILL TAKE PLACE...
Nairobi lies at an altitude of 5,500 ft above sea level and has no real variations in the climate. Even though Nairobi lies near the equator, the average temperatures range from 21°C in January to 16°C in July.
Kenya’s capital city has risen in a single century from a brackish uninhabited swampland to a thriving modern capital.
When railway construction workers reached this area in 1899, they set up a basic camp and supply depot, simply called ‘Mile 327’. The local Maasai called this highland swamp Ewaso Nai’beri – the place of cold water.
The camp became a rustic village, and then a shanty town, which by 1907 was the capital of all of British East Africa. It was soon an important centre for the colony and a mecca for adventurers, hunters and travelers from all over the world.
Modern Nairobi is the safari capital of the Africa, but the modern world has quickly caught up with the city. A frontier town no more, Nairobi has become one of Africa’s largest and most interesting cities.

The eighteen-hole championship golf course threads its way through coffee farms and indigenous forest. It boasts lush, springy fairways, fast, true greens and a sprinkling of attractive water hazards. At an altitude of more than a mile above sea level the ball does not fly further and you may need to adjust your club selection.

Carnivore Restaurant
We will spend our final evening at the Carnivore restaurant which is considered 'Africa’s Greatest Eating Experience.’ This open-air meat specialty restaurant has strikingly different food, service and entertainment to anything ever seen in East Africa and beyond.
The restaurant serves every type of barbecue meat imaginable, including four choices of wild game. It is roasted on traditional Maasai swords over a huge, visually spectacular charcoal pit that dominates the entrance of the restaurant.
