U.S. Outreach Teams

In 2010, we’re inviting an army of compassion from around the USA to converge on two cities to be a part of a Convoy of Hope US Team. Your group can be a part of one of these opportunities:

New Orleans, July 1-4, $98 per person*
New Orleans still struggles from the effects of Hurricane Katrina. This year, you can be a part of reaching New Orleans through “Feeding the Multitudes,” an event in partnership with Convoy of Hope.

Philadelphia, September 22-25, $98 per person*
Philadelphia, “City of Brotherly Love” is a historical place with pockets of division, poverty and hopelessness.  Convoy of Hope, in partnership with churches throughout the city, will hold a day of multi-site outreaches in places of Philadelphia’s deepest need.

*At each site, Convoy of Hope will work with your group to provide:
Meals
A connection to the city
Outreach t –shirt
Group gatherings and activities
Insurance
Special sessions with Convoy of Hope leadership

Group members will be challenged, given opportunity and will make a difference.

The cost does NOT include:
Housing (but we will provide information from a strategically located hotel)
Transportation (teams are responsible for all transportation, both to/from the city and during the outreach)

We’re excited that you’re interested in becoming a Team Leader for a Convoy of Hope US Outreach Team. In order to effectively serve you, there are a few forms for you to fill out. This will help ensure effective preparation for the trip.

Please fill out a Team Inquiry Form to let us know of your interest in serving on a US Outreach Team. (This may be emailed to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).)

When you’re ready to commit, please fill out a Team Reservation Form and send it with a $150 deposit. This deposit is non-refundable but goes toward the total cost of your trip. (Note: this form may be emailed to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), and funds sent through http://www.convoyofhope.org.)

We need hard copies of the Assumption of Risk/Insurance election form for every adult and minor team member. Please mail in a signed AOR for each team member at least 14 days prior to the trip. Please mail them all together and have them come from you, rather than from individual team members.

A note about finances:
We ask that 1/2 of all funds be sent 30 days prior to the trip and the final 1/2 be sent 10 days prior to the trip start date. Funds are non-refundable, but may be used to cover expenses of a new team member if someone must cancel.
