Convoy of Hope Partners with 99HitFM and Band Kutless to Rock the Fair
On Monday July 30, Convoy of Hope and Drury SIFE will join 99HitFM in welcoming national recording artist Kutless to the Ozark Empire Fair. Based out of Portland, Oregon, Kutless is a long-time friend of Convoy of Hope. Following Hurricane Katrina, the band performed a benefit concert at home in Portland and donated all of the $50,000 raised, to Convoy of Hope’s Katrina relief efforts.
In addition to their generosity as a band, Kutless has achieved much success in the music industry with the release of four full-length albums and multiple nationwide tours. Their songs present a positive message of hope with a hard-rock edge that appeals to all ages.
Fairgoers will have a chance to win various Kutless prizes throughout the day, including 8 backstage passes and VIP seating at the concert. Fans who live outside the Springfield area can also be winners by listening live at http://www.99hitfm.com
Join Convoy of Hope at the Fair, July 27-30, to learn about the organization’s CleanWater initiative, a program that responds to the worldwide water crisis, which affects 1 billion people each day. One-sixth of the world’s population doesn’t have access to safe water; one flush of your toilet uses as much water as the average person in the developing world uses for a day’s washing, cleaning, cooking and drinking. Through its biosand water filter, Convoy of Hope is providing clean water, permanently, to people around the world.
