Compassion Outreach Tour

The U.S. Census Bureau has reported the number of Americans living in poverty is at its highest level in 51 years. The U.S. Department of Agriculture reported 14.7 million households were food insecure. Programs exist that can help, but often the people who need them most do not know how to access them.

Understanding this, Convoy of Hope endeavors to connect honored guests with churches and other resources that can provide emotional, physical, and spiritual support long after the outreach is over.

In addition to the more than 2 million pounds of groceries that will be given away during the 50-state Compassion Outreach Tour, each outreach will provide haircuts, family portraits, health and job fairs, live entertainment and activities for children in a carnival-like atmosphere, all free of charge. The tour will mobilize 50,000 volunteers and 5,000 churches and community service providers across all 50 states to deliver hope and tangible resources to 250,000 honored guests.
