FAQ
How can I get more resources about humanitarian efforts?
Refer to the resources section on our website.
How can my group participate in a Convoy outreach outside my community?
To participate in a USA outreach, check the event schedule found on our website and contact the local coordinator for more information. To participate in an international outreach, contact the COH office for more information.
How does COH decide what communities to go to?
Our decision to assist a particular community is based primarily on the need found in that community and the ability and willingness of local organizations to work together in order to have an effective outreach.
How can a Convoy outreach come to my community?
A packet of information is available that explains what is required to conduct an event. The packet also includes an application that must be completed by a local organization that will assume responsibility for the event. That group will take an active role in soliciting the participation of other organizations, agencies and churches. Groups may request an information packet by contacting the COH office.
Does COH have a religious affiliation?
COH is a transdenominational Christian organization governed by its own board of directors. We work with various denominations and Christian organizations. COH is accountable to its board, donors and partnering groups.
How do you gather the food?
COH has semi-trucks that pick up food across the United States. Often that food is transported to our World Distribution Center for sorting and shipping. We also have relationships with several trucking carriers that assist us with our transportation needs.
How do you secure your food?
Our food comes from a variety of sources: corporations, grocers, farmers, etc. Virtually all of the food is donated.
How is COH funded?
COH is funded primarily through donations from individuals, organizations and churches. Find out more on our donation page
