Convoy of Hope Responds to Tornado in Perryville, Missouri

PERRYVILLE, MO — Over the weekend, our Disaster Services team mobilized hundreds of volunteers to clean up more than 1,000 acres of farmland. We also distributed 14,655 pounds of emergency relief supplies to affected families. Convoy of Hope will continue to work with our partners in the area to see if any additional needs arise.

PERRYVILLE, MO — Our Disaster Services team is responding to a tornado that caused destruction in Perryville, Missouri, where an estimated 180 homes have been affected. A team is en route with relief supplies including food, water, and cleaning supplies.

“Our team will arrive later today to assist with debris removal operations,” says Stacy Lamb, U.S. Response Director. “We will work with local partners in the area to assist as many families as possible.”

Additional personnel will deploy throughout the weekend.
