    SPRINGFIELD, Mo.A seventh and final load of supplies was delivered in West Virginia today, bringing the total number of people served in our response to nearly 16,000. More than 261,000 pounds of supplies have been distributed in recent weeks.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mo.Convoy of Hope's Disaster Services team continues to work with churches and organizations in West Virginia to distribute supplies to residents affected by the flooding.

    To date, more than 11,300 flood survivors have been served and five loads of emergency relief supplies have been delivered and distributed. An additional load of water will be delivered this week, as we continue to identify the areas of greatest need.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mo.Our response continues in West Virginia, as we are sending four additional truckloads of emergency relief supplies to the affected areas.

    We have three loads of water planned to arrive this week to supplement the cities with compromised water systems, as well as a load of bleach for the state to distribute in the areas of greatest need.

    SPRINGFIELD, Mo.Convoy of Hope is responding to flooding in West Virginia where at least 23 people have lost their lives. Massive storms have caused 44 counties to declare a state of emergency.

    With our local partners, we will deliver and distribute much-needed relief in the form of flood buckets, cleaning supplies, food and water.

    "We will be in constant communication with our partners on the ground to provide emergency supplies to families in need," says Stacy Lamb, U.S. response director for Disaster Services. "In the coming days, as the waters recede, we will be able to identify how we can continue our response."
