A series of Nepal earthquake photos from our team on the ground in Kathmandu.
Our team about to land in Kathmandu . The airport was chaotic with hundreds of people coming into the country bringing aid to survivors. Tens of thousands of people have been left homeless and are currently living in tents. Locals explain what their city was like before the earthquake. A large group of local residents work together to clear the rubble from fallen buildings. Local residents doing what they can to get Nepal cleaned up. A group of men work together to remove larger pieces of rubble. Rubble must be removed piece by piece. We are surrounded by incredibly beautiful buildings, most of which have significant damage. The local culture in Kathmandu is still just as prominent and beautiful as ever. Funeral ceremonies include bright dyes and cloths. Mourning the loss of loved ones. Though the people of Nepal have been through so much, they are resilient and full of hope.
