World Food Day is a day of action against hunger. On October 16, people around the world come together to declare their commitment to eradicate world hunger. At Convoy of Hope, we feed kids and raise awareness of the problems caused by hunger and malnutrition.
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations estimates that there are more than 800 million hungry people in the world. Most of them live in Latin America, Africa and Asia. While the number can be overwhelming, we CAN put an end to world hunger in our generation — one child at a time.
This week, as we march toward World Food Day, we need your help! Join us to feed 16 kids in Haiti by the 16th. We’re asking our friends for $1,920 to provide food for an entire year. We are confident we will reach our goal with your partnership. Thank you.
