During the PGA Tour Championship, Justin has pledged to donate $1,000 for every birdie and $5,000 for every eagle he makes to Convoy of Hope’s Hurricane Florence disaster response.

Justin, his sponsors and fans generated more than $90,000 in donations over the past two year to help Convoy’s hurricane relief efforts. Justin is currently ranked 4th on the PGA’s Official World Golf Ranking and has had seven PGA Tour wins.

“We are thrilled Justin is partnering with Convoy again this year. His support makes a difference in the work we are doing to help the individuals and communities affected by Hurricane Florence” said Rick Waggoner, Convoy’s vice president of development.

Justin Thomas Helps Hurricane Matthew Survivors

After three impressive weeks in the PGA Tour, Justin Thomas’ #MakingBirdiesforMatthew has come to an end. We thank Justin, his sponsors and fans for generating more than $35,000 in donations for Convoy of Hope’s Hurricane Matthew disaster response.

Thomas, who pledged to donate $250 for every birdie, made 70 birdies over three recent PGA Tour events and went on to win the CIMB Classic event in Malaysia!

Because of generous friends like Justin, we have distributed 851,982 pounds of food, hygiene kits, cleaning supplies, and water in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. Internationally, more than 2.3 million meals and 88,000 water units were given to people affected by the hurricane.

Convoy of Hope congratulates Justin on his success and thanks everyone who participated in #MakingBirdiesForMatthew. We can’t wait to partner with Justin and other athletes in the future to continue spreading hope around the world.
