FLINT, MI — Our response continues in Flint as we work with the state of Michigan to deliver more water each week. We have procured, distributed, or delivered more than 110 truckloads of water to residents in need and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future.

FLINT, MI — Since January, we have worked with local partners to distribute 45 truckloads of clean water to residents affected by the Flint Water Crisis. We are committed to delivering hope until the crisis is resolved.

FLINT, MI — Since we started our response in January, we have delivered 26 truckloads of bottled water to Flint. We will continue to provide water to affected residents in the coming weeks.

FLINT, MI — We partnered with CNN to distribute three truckloads of water to affected residents in Flint today. Dozens of volunteers from the network, including Don Lemon, Van Jones, Donna Brazile, Brian Stelter, Martin Savidge, and Sara Ganim, were on-site to pass water out and visit with residents prior to the Democratic debate taking place in Flint tomorrow.
CNN has also procured 12 additional truckloads of water to be distributed by the local churches in the upcoming weeks. The water was provided by Nestle Waters North America.

FLINT, MI — On January 13, the Governor of Michigan declared a state of emergency and requested help from the federal government to provide clean water in Flint, after studies showed their water source was contaminated. Convoy of Hope’s Disaster Services team responded immediately by partnering with local churches in the area to distribute water to affected residents.
“Nobody knows the areas of greatest need better than the local churches,” says Stacy Lamb, U.S. Response Director. “Within a very short period of time, we were able to start sending truckloads of clean water for them to distribute.”
To date, Convoy has sent nine truckloads of water to partner churches in Flint. The response will continue as needed, based on the capacity and distribution rate of the local churches.
“Our team is focused on bringing hope in the midst of crises,” adds Lamb. “Because of our faithful partners, we have been able to do that.”
