Response Updates

National Breast Cancer Foundation

Reported by Convoy of Hope

Convoy of Hope has partnered with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) since 2012 and together. Together, we’ve impacted the lives of thousands of women.

NBCF’s mission is to save lives through early detection and to provide mammograms for those in need. The women’s health organization is a significant partner in a number of our Community Events, where they provide free life-saving resources and health screenings to women who otherwise couldn’t afford it.

“The services we’re able to provide for women through our outstanding partnership with the NBCF are invaluable,” says Hal Donaldson, President of Convoy of Hope. “This year alone, we’ve been able to provide services to more than 2,300 women and we thank the NBCF for their partnership.”

One of those women is Pamela, 47, who noted that she had a biopsy on a benign tumor in 2009. With no health insurance, she had never received a follow up screening until getting one at one of our Community Events where we partnered with the NBCF.
