Zendaya’s song benefits Convoy of Hope

Hollywood Records’ Platinum-selling artist, Zendaya recently released a cover of John Legend’s “All of Me.” Zendaya joined Max and Kurt Schneider to record the song with a portion of the proceeds going to Convoy of Hope.

“My generation has the opportunity to change the world,” says Zendaya. “With Convoy of Hope, I’ve raised my voice and I’m using it to give hope to people around the world.”

Zendaya has been an advocate for Convoy of Hope since Hurricane Sandy devastated parts of New York and New Jersey in 2012, promoting disaster response efforts by the organization. The singer urged her fans to text a $10 donation to help with relief efforts.

Since then, Zendaya has offered her voice and influence to tell Convoy of Hope’s story to her millions of followers on social media. In 2013, Zendaya also encouraged fans to support Convoy of Hope after tornadoes ravaged Oklahoma and when Typhoon Haiyan struck the Philippines.

Is this singer bringing Christ to the people with her message? If not why are we promoting her?

    • Thanks for reaching out to us. Zendaya has chosen to use her platform to promote our work of feeding hungry children and by bringing help and hope to those who are impoverished and hurting. Doing so, aligns with our organizational mission and beliefs. If you have further thoughts, you are welcome to email us at [email protected].

Zendaya must be a Christian then if she aligns with your mission and Beliefs. If she is not a Christian then aligning with your beliefs must say something about your mission statement.

One more thing to say. Jesus told his followers to feed the hungry and clothe the poor…In his name, other wise it is “good works” that will be burned up as wood hay or stubble. If you need a copy of the bible to find that, I can supply your office with one.
