Convoy Given “Four Star Charity” Award for 13th Year

Reported by Convoy of Hope

America’s largest and most-utilized independent evaluator of charities — Charity Navigator — awarded Convoy of Hope the prestigious 4-star rating for the 13th consecutive year.

“This ‘exceptional’ designation from Charity Navigator differentiates Convoy of Hope from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust,” says Ken Berger, President and CEO of Charity Navigator.

According to Charity Navigator, receiving four out of a possible four stars indicates that an organization adheres to good governance and other best practices that minimize the chance of unethical activities and consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way. Less than 1% of the charities rated in America have received at least 13 consecutive 4-star evaluations.

“We’re honored to receive Charity Navigator’s highest rating,” says Hal Donaldson, President and co-founder of Convoy of Hope. “As a faith-based organization, we strive to be fiscally responsible and abide by the highest standards for our business practices.”
